Day 86 of 100 Days

Sarah Swaysland

Saturday, 27th March 2021

We started off the day by being out of the house before 8.30am and going for an amazing walk on the common. It was beautiful, and I’m really looking forward to the weather heating up a bit, as it was still only six degrees. Clocks go forward tonight, which means that hopefully I’ll be getting up at 6.45am instead of 5.45am tomorrow morning…

What: Google Ads
Organisation: The Donkey Haven Charity

Karen is raising money to ship three beautiful donkeys over from France, having saved them from the slaughterhouse. This makes me so happy because I love donkeys. They are such gentle creatures, yet they carry such heavy loads and are incredibly strong. If I can do anything to help, I will, so I created some ads today which will hopefully direct people to the website.

It was so beautiful outside that I also managed to get out into the garden to tend to my seedlings, but it's not going awfully well at the moment. Some of them just don't seem to be sprouting at all. This is the first time I've tried using a greenhouse, and I'm not having much confidence in my skills at the moment. We'll have to wait a couple of weeks to see what comes of them. In better news, my eucalyptus tree cuttings seem to be doing well.
